In addition to his visual art, Kevin Ledo creates and releases music under the name Yo Photon!, a project available on most major streaming platforms. Through this outlet, he has released full bodies of work including World Upside Down(2025) and Time Weaver (2024), approaching sound as a space for experimentation and exploration. Working with electronic textures, rhythm, and repetition, the music develops through layering and variation, allowing structure and intuition to coexist. Subtle references to the nostalgic tones of retro video games and late-1990s IDM, coupled with beat-driven composition, inform the work’s sonic character. Like his abstract painting practice, the project is rooted in process, improvisation, and refinement, positioning sound as a flexible, image-driven medium for exploring emotion, memory, and narrative.
